I got a chance to watch <the davinci code> on the 1^st day the movie was out…..

I read the book and found it interesting…that’s why…I thought it might be worth to watch it..(basically I watch everything..haha)…n I was quite satisfied after the show …..

Tom Hanks has been my all time favorite(besides Jonny Depp)…I saw him acting in a few movies…Cast Away…Forrest Gump…I think he’s very good in acting as all types of characters…from a bit ‘retarded’ guy in Forrest Gump…to the smart symbolist…Robert Langdon…

Ian Mckallen…I knew him as Gandalf the Grey in LOTR…n magneto in X-men…Professor Dumberdor in Harry Potter 4 …another great actor coz I think he can juz switch from a wise man to evil Leigh Teabing…

Paul Bettany is new to me…playing as Silas…i think he’s juz a lil bit too kind…(not evil enough…haha…coz he’s quite cute..with his pair of eyes…)maybe I was too imaginative n the Silas I imagine is an evil…n most importantly the albino monk is almost a ghost….n he’s suppose to be a complex (between good n evil….)

of course not forgetting the other characters in this story…Sophie n Bezu Fache…I like the description in the book…they r smart…confidence n firm….

the other aspect that attracted me most was the storyline…but in the movie…there were certain point where I was quite dissaponited…when Sophie found the key to open the safe box in the bank behind ‘the madonana of the rocks’…I was thinking…”what??juz like dat??”…n I was hoping to c Robert Langdon’s Mickey Mouse watch…but it didn’t appear in the movie…however…the scenes in the movie r fascinating…the Louvre Museum…the chapels n the churches…

even though many of the facts in the book are totally not true…but I’ve learn a lot about Christianity…still not vey clear until nowsome of the Leonardo Davinci;s drawings…n things abt crytology n symbols…it was fun trying to crack the code together with the characters inside the book…u should try it too…J
